hi kim! i guess they try to save money. they figure if they can do the job, then they won,t have to take it to the garage and pay those big prices.

Well based on this I think if they ask a question they should take into conceidration of what the people put in there sources box in there answer.

well some people have simple questions that can easily be answered. if someone knows alot about cars they can answer questions and tell a person what they need to do. also if its a big problem that they wont be able to fix someone with experience can tell them to just take it to a mechanic

Most people don't know what they don't know, so they wouldn't know they got bad information.  They think it will cost a lot of money so they try to get free advice from the internet.  Same reason why people ask about medical problems either for themselves or their pets.

Ever wondered why so many people ask questions on here and get a lot of guess work iffy answers when it would be much quicker and more accurate to do a quick google for the answer, and get it in about 3 seconds
