Why do people refuse to believe that the Holocaust really happened?

I don't know what more you need to believe, besides the large complexes that the camps were at, the numerous videos, the photos, the survivors, the testimonies from the guards and commandants.  What else do you need?

I think the people that don't believe in it are just cracked.  Know what I mean?

i've studied the holocaust and had nightmares and cried for every day that i spent studing it. There are no words, no pictures, no stories to discribe the event that took place!!

Some refuse to believe it because they don't believe that 6 million people could just be killed, massacres a day.

The pictures are so Horrifying to even look at, that people believe it's fake. like if you see an alien on a kodak, you'll probably think is fake because it's so unbelievable that's there is actually like on earth. that would change everything!! including they way we see our religion.

same thing, Why would God allow the holocaust to happen. some say he wont, therefore, it never happened.

Such people are usually anti-Semites: neo-n***s, etc., for whom Holocaust denial serves their sociopolitical agenda.  No one really takes them seriously.

3 things:  Anti-semitism, and/or (the two are hard to separate) desire to believe in conspiracy theories...

Possibly too, a desire to draw sympathy away from the Hebrew people, towards other groups.  (Said in a redneck way: 'Oh, you think YOU had it tough!  What you went thru was nothing, especially compared to...)  Well, I'm sure you get the idea.
