Why do people replace "g" with "q"

I see this alot lately in the way people type and its obnoxious as h**l. I also see people type with multiple I's and deliberate spelling errors like "I liike youuh qirl!". It seems to be mostly done by girls of minority ethnicities or people who think they're 'ghetto'. Whats up with this c**p?

I don't get it either.  I was told once that it is so that you can type faster, like writing "u instead of u" or gr8 for great, but allllll the extra letters, I don't understand.  I think it sounds stupid as h**l and makes me thing the people don't know how to talk properly.

LOL cause they are all trying to out do each other in being annoying. Its just all part of the ghetto gangsta trend. Which in itself, is highly annoying.
