I have a feeling it is more than just price differences am i right ? I crossed the gulf to visit Tallinn by boat and upon return i found 8/10 people were carrying HUGE HUGE amounts of alcoholic beverages in bags and luggage...why is that ? Is alcohol like banned in Helsinki or what ?

  1. Alko was out of viitu viina again .. (takes a genuine Finn or someone who has travelled to Suomi to get the joke)

  2. Nothing but tax-free (duty-free) purchases because it's cheaper. And you know most of the Finns drink very heavily (except me)!

  3. Finland has a government monopoly on alcohol, and Finns love their alcohol! =D And Tallin is so close to Helsinki.

  4. its only the price

like there are heaps of drunkies there coz the alcohol is generally cheaper

  5. Not banned. EXPENSIVE...
