Why do people rob cab drivers?

Question

They must be igorant because cab drivers are NOT rich !

They pay upto $150.00 daily to lease the cab from the cab co.

They are considerd Independent Contracters,day labors to certin businesses such as rent-a-center.

They spend upwords of $60.00 daily in gasoline,depending on length of shift,and of corse given they're NOT in a hybrid though these drivers are only about $45.00 richer per day than the regular car drivers.

They have to be safe,next to no tickets,at the "cage" by a certin time daily to pay their dues.

They have to use a full $8.00 car wash treatment daily BEFORE approching the cage,must vacuum and dust inside as well,ALL at their own cost !

Heck they are lucky to have $20.00 change on them at all times !

AHHH !!! I JUST DON'T GET IT !!!

just a comment to Njmotorc-loved your answer man, but hey we will never  make the world a better place like that. think of all the wars- they have not solved anything yet, obviously.But I can relate to the"feeling" of your answer.

Because they deal mostly in cash.

Famous bank robber Willie Sutton was asked by a reporter why he robbed banks.

His answer - "Because that's where the money is!"

There is an easy fix for this. The cab drivers (where legal) should start carrying guns to protect themselves.

A few dead dirtbags will discourage the others from robbing cab drivers and also provide the added benefits of improving the gene pool and making life safer for the entire neighborhood.
