Why do people say Aishwarya Rai is the most beautiful woman in the world?

I mean, she is pretty, but there are MUCH prettier women. I just don't know why people say she's the "most beautiful woman on Earth." I think Sushmita Sen is beautiful. What do you think?

She is just the current so called "most beautiful woman" because she was voted such in a poll.  It changes a lot, she is just the current one.

I agree w/ you, but you cant say she's not pretty, she is. But Sushmita Sen is just amazing not only by the looks, also when she talks, she sounds so much more smarter than Aishwarya Rai. & it's sad that Sushmita isnt getting much attention.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Each person will think differently about how someone looks.

However, I have to agree with you. I think Aishwarya Rai is stunning. She may not be considered a classical beauty by some, but I don't care. She is also a beautiful person on the inside. I saw her on a talk show, and she was intelligent, honest, and sweet. She's truly a gem.

There is no doubt about it. She has a special something that defies all reasoning. I can sit and look at her picture for hours on end. It is a beauty that seems more at being blessed by God. If anyone says she is not one of the most beautiful women in the world, they are either too young to know, or they wouldn't know beauty if it slapped them in the face.

I agree with the answers from others about the other women; but others seem to be losing their aura, but not Aishwarya Rai
