Why do people say Canada is a boring country?

It seems to me there is always some excitement on the go there.

In August, there was a huge explosion in Toronto at a propane plant. 18,000 people were evacuated, some had minor injuries and many homes had major damages. There was rioting in Montreal where several police officers were injured and tens of millions of damage done to businesses, cars and homes.

In July, there was a man beheaded on a greyhound bus in Manitoba.

In June, a young woman's remains were found in a suitcase, all cut to pieces in a wooded area in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Really, I don't understand why people say Canada is boring. Do you?

Canada's cool and there smoke friendly bed and breakfast inns,  peyote at the store,   ya Canada is a fun place

Who says Canada is boring?  I've lived here 61 years and have never, ever been bored.  There's always lots to do and it's a gorgeous country.  It's very clean and beautiful.  Haven't been to the east coast yet but the Rocky Montains are magnificent.  I could just lay on the grass and just stare at the sky and landscape.  It truly is God's country.

As far as being cold, winter doesn't last forever.  We don't live in igloos like many would like to think and we all don't speak french and we all don't say "eh", "oot" or "aboot"

Come for a visit and see why we love it.  You'll never want to leave.

It probably isn't. I associate Canada with the word COLD though.

They just haven't tried Canada's biggest cash crop.

Actually, if last Sunday's Catholic newspapers are to be believed it is also America's biggest cash crop.
