Why do people say Firefox is better than IE?

I've heard people say Firefox doesn't get viruses as much as internet explorer. What are the bonuses that Firefox has that internet explorer doesn't?

Faster.

More secure.

h**l it even has a virus scanner whenever you saved\download anything, even a picture.

it seems to be faster and less prone to attacks , whereas IE has all kinds of wormholes

Some of the reasons:

Less viruses are being made for Firefox (Possibly less vulnerabilities in it as well)

It's faster and can handle a lot more tabs being open than IE

It is highly customisable (my Firefox is customised a lot (to my tastes) and it makes using it so much better

for one reason only...

because it gets Hacked a lot less by hackers.

plus the security seems to be better.
