Why do people say Women Hate Football?

They obviously have never been to Pittsburgh.  The Steelers have a training camp that they put on for women and there were 250 women from all over the country there last year.  Women love their Steelers football, and they know a lot about football too.

No clue I live for Football Season. I understand the game as well as my hubby. We love debating and talkin about the game, stats, teams etc. Because of our work schedules he gets a chance to listen to sports talk more.....he works with a bunch of guys, I work in a professional environment. But I love the game and know a lot about it.

I LOVE football!  

I don't understand some of the finer points (don't know a shovel pass from a play-fake ... but I know what a fleaflicker is, and I can sure as heck recognize a Hail Mary when I see one!) as well as my husband (who actually PLAYED football).

Maybe that's it ... lots of guys have played the game.  So, naturally, they know more about it.  But, they don't love it any more than I do!

Yea my mom loves it she is a big Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, and San Fran 49ers fan. Women love it to!

well i certainly dont know of any women that like it.  they dont even understand the rules.  my sister was a cheerleader for 4 yrs. in high school, and all she knows is that a touchdown is good.

I love both the NFL and the NCAA, some of the men my husband works with are jealous.  They told him he is so lucky.  I understand football as well as most men.  The Pittsburgh Steelers have the largest and most knowledgable female fan base in the country.

Real Women watch football. I love it! I am a huge Packer Fan, but I also know a lot about other teams. I wasn't that big of a football fan until I met him, and he would spend Saturday and Sunday on the couch in front of the T.V. & he wouldn't budge, and I figured, if you cant beat 'em join 'em. So that's what I did. Now I know a ton about football. Anytime I dont understand something I ask a question. and he answers it. for example how many yards does a holding penalty get? and my hubby is great about answering me. He loves football, and he knows almost every player on every team and all their stats. He and I have fun little arguments about it as well, just yesterday he said that A.P.(of the Vikings) is going to run all over the Green Bay Packers, and I was like no he wont he didnt last year. So we bet money on it. lol. He is a Lions fan as well, so it's even better because our favorite teams play each other. AND the Lions suck.

Well I guess its like anything else no one likes everything. You would be surprise at the guys that could care less about football. So it just depends on the persons likes and dislikes. I see dudes on here that insult female fans with negative talk like who let you out of the kitchen ? not all guys know everything about football. Women climb telephone poles drive rigs work construction and handle the h**l out of big cooperation's. Women are the backbone of the good old USA and in all of that not suppose to like football. This is not the dark ages any more..
