It bugs me. And it so doesn't make sense. What is it supposed to mean and where did such a ridiculous word come from?

  1. "Anywho" means the same thing as "any way" or "any how". Someone saying "anywho" is just trying to be funny, and failing miserably.

  2. Any 'who' is not a word, and neither is "anyways". Both of these terms bother me because it's more of the reckless and casual language that we Americans continue to use in our cultures and subcultures.  As an English and Language Teacher, I find it bothersome as much as the way my students over use the words "like", "uhh", "huh?" and other phrases that continue to hurt our language skills in the professional world.  Texting also has hurt us.  My students think it is okay for them to write papers using 'text-phrases'.  Where it comes from, I have no idea, other than to say that people are lazy sometimes, or whimsical and like to be creative and 'fun'.

  3. Yea my friend says it too and I hate it. But I gess they're just trying to be different.
