Why do people say that jared leto.......

I was looking through alot of websites and they that jared leto is a wannabe singer, but when he was on the jimmy kimmel show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZQGsuF1E48 he says he came to 'la' to be singer/band menber,but he got to be actor 1st. so what do you think? i think that is he not a wannabe!!!!
