Why do people say that more younger people play alliance then horde in world of warcraft?

I play alliance and how would ANYBODY know the ages of the people playing alliance or horde?

This question normally comes up in endgame raiding. It's pretty simple to find out someones age when you're talking to them.

From my experiences, there really is no age difference between horde and alliance, so it's not something to worry about

People say this on horde in reference of the general maturity level of the players. Although I never noticed a big difference myself, I never played alliance very much.

Personally I meet plenty of horde players who I recognize as children very quickly. Like the naked priest I found in Trisfal glades.

Invited me to a party, wanted me to right click and follow. "Folow me wer going far away" Steered with keyboard and moved a little and then turned again. 'Follow me lets go som were ok' Turn move turn move...

people say that little kids play on the alliance because they don't want to be the "bad guys" on the horde.

My main is a horde(Londron on the Karazhan server, EU)

But I have a fiew alts on aliance on another server.

I do instance without probs as horde, ever tried it as aliance? exacly.

Was looking for a party to BRD and what did I found? 2 retridins who were L33T DPS, a weak later I found ANOTHER one, I swear, I have never in my 1.5 years of playing horde see a priest who refused to heal or a paladin who only wanted to DPS, on aliance I found 3 in one week.

And yes, I have tankgear on my warrior if you check it and start whining, enough to tank al of ZA.

In the end al you need is a good guild and everyone can beat it for me.

People say this because they think Horde are more advanced than Alliance. They think all the "noobs" are on the Alliance side.

Alliance say they lose battlegrounds too much, I'm not sure if the Horde have noticed this though. They are in general, said to be better at PvP.

People think that the Alliance is filled full of children, because they think the maturity level is low, and they are all nubs, an cant play well etc. but my opinion still is that morons come in all ages, (adults included).
