What good is a resource to anybody who doesn,t know it,s a resource, if the Americans hadn,t shown the arabs what the resource could achieve for them and showed them how to go about getting it, along with help from a lot of other countries,   then it would probably still be below the vast desert waste lands. The Americans obviously wanted their share of what they and others worked hard to harvest, in the process they gave the Arabs a standard of living that most of them could only dream of.

In thanks for what a large part of the world helped them achieve they now aspire to ruling us all.

How do you define paying for something?  The US "bought" most of its land from the Natives, however, most would agree the terms were usually always under duress.

Because the U.S. go into Iraq without a U.N. mandate and basically do what ever they want until Iraq is so unstable it can't run itself and they lay down all sorts of ridiculous conditions to pulling out.

There are none so blind as those who will not see and the U.S. public will not see how utterly unfair and unreasonable they are being with their middle east policy. They just sit back and believe every bit of propaganda they are fed by the neo-con controlled government.

Private companies developed mideast oil production. They lease the land and can be kicked  out anytime.

USA was the worlds top oil producer and used up the surplus in WWII. British let up its grip on the mideast cause they owed us one for the WWII help.

US independent companies struck up mutually beneficial deals with middle eastern countries drilled all over the mideast before any bad blood existed. We helped turn some middle east nations into very prosperous nations.

Maybe Afganistan needs JP Getty to drill some holes in their ground so they can swap goats for mercedes benzs and hold the world by a string.
