Why do people say the love but not "in love"?

Question

I see people getting married then saying they are not in love.

Then I sit here and say why did you even get married then?

Sometimes I think the person who is not in love is at fault in a way because they can do more to fix teir attitude towards the other.

I dont get it lol

Plain and simple people get married for the wrong reasons. Usually for reasons that will not withstand the length of a marriage ...... forever!

So as soon as something goes wrong and someone doesn't agree they're ready to abandon ship.

there ia difference between love and being in love. a desperste person can love someone and talk themselves into thinking that they are in love. once the lie wears off they realise what a mistake they've made. you cant fix your attitude, i youre not in love you cant make your heart feel it no matter how hard you try.

The main problem is that most folks simply do not know HOW to make a good relationship - especially after the initial thrill has cooled down.

they say they are in love eventhough they are not...



coz some women got married because they got pregnant at the very young age.. some women get married for financial security reason.. & some women afraid to grow old alone..

they all think that they can teach there heart to love their patners..

love is not to be confused with lust.

Love takes effort, and time, its to be judged not by all the good times, but how you pull together when its not so good. Love goes beyond infatuation and attraction, its a intimacy that goes beyond looks and $$.

people who get married who are not truly in love are setting themselves up for misery and problems , not to mention Divorce.

why they do it? a false sence of hope security, and  a lack of self esteem, many times they just tire of looking and settle., Sometimes its just for money(but they earn it in the end)

I drift in and out of being 'in love' with my fiance, but I have always and will always love him (been 7 years so far). You'd be stupid to think that life will never through you a curve ball and that everythings going to be hunky dory for the next 60 odd years. At least I know no matter what happens we have that foundation to bounce back with.

Compared to previous relationships where when I drifted out of love there was this kind of hatred or just indifference.
