  1. 4.33 weeks in a month, actually.

  2. you silly fool!

lots of months have 5 weeks in them...

  3. They went the same place your brain did: out your @rse.

A month contains 31 days, with the exception of February (28 or 29, depending on leap year), April, June, September, and November (30).

So, using distributive property to simplify:

    28 + (4 x 30) + (7 x 31) = 365 days, or 52 weeks.

  4. 365 days per year / 7 days per week = 52 weeks + 1 day

round down to 52 weeks per year

  5. Is this a serious question?

  6. 365 days in a year

divide that by 7 (days in a week)

    and you get

    52.1 weeks in a year

  7. Your logic is flawed.  The only month that has exactly 4 weeks (or 28 days) is February and every 4 years it has 4 weeks PLUS 1 day.

Instead of using 4 as your multiplier, use 7 as your divider.

There are 365 days in a year (except leap year).  365 divided by 7 days in a week is 52.142...

That point 142 ad infinitum is why every 4 years February has an extra day.  Because we follow a Georgian calendar and this is how it computes the number of days in a year.
