A bunch of people, when you're in a bad situation, tell you they're willing to talk to you and help...but when the time comes that you need them, they simply don't give a s***. Why lie? Why not just say you don't care if you don't care?

  1. Deep learned BS fears.  Because they are not mature enough to accept their limitations.  The immortality complex takes a long, long, time to fully dissipate.

We are taught to fear death, taught to cover that fear with a religion. Only when those two huge walls are destroyed, can a person make an honest stand.

FDR was right: "nothing to fear but fear itself."  Can you doubt a president who, regardless of his flaws, against all odds, postponed at  the almost certain demise of  the U.S.A. (at that time)?

  2. i dont know... i've been wondering the same

  3. It's them thinking they have the 'social graces'.  Some people are *ssholes to your face, but the real *ssholes are the ones who do it behind your back (not being there for you, for example).  It's just life, there will be more people like them.

  4. because honestly..they dont realize they are lying at the time..they dont realize how hard it is to be in the situation...sure its easy to say that youll be there and at they time they honestly think they will be..but in the end we all know they wont..thats just the way people work.

  5. beacuse it sounds good to them and will make them feel pathetically good about themselves for a short while

  6. Because they want to look good, and feel good about themselves, and they're too afraid to face the truth and to let it be known that they are selfish and just won't admit it.
