Why do people say this about the USA?

I have read a lot of answers on here saying that the USA is the most evil country in the world. If that is true why do millions of illegal immigrants risk their lives to come here? Why do 1 million legal immigrants come here every year. If so many people are trying to come here every year (legal and illegal) we must be doing something right. It seems to me if this was the most evil country in the world people would be leaving by the millions.

Some of the things our President has done seems to look like he is corrupt, but there is a bigger picture going on. We have to back our President any way we can. At the same time support our military. As far as Illegals coming here, the fact is Mexico is on the verge of bankruptcy, the US is now building camps to cope with the flood of Illegals coming to our fine nation. That does not sound to "evil" to me.

There is no way to equate the amount of illegal immigrants that come into this country with the fact that we are evil or not evil- the immigrants come for jobs, free health care, and an education for their kids- who can blame them?

But here is where the rest of the world gets the (the US is evil thing from) - this is not my opinion, but the worlds opinion of us-g*y rights, God not allowed in government, work or schools, most places have some form of legalized gambling,legalized abortion, highest pregnancy rate in the world of unwed mothers, highest rate of adultery in the world, the most lying politicians in the world, we worship wealth more then any other nation, our kids start engaging in s*x at the youngest age then any where else in the world, we don't take care of the sick and the poor as well as the European nations do, and the way we treat our elderly by throwing them in understaffed nursing homes with inadequate health care staffed by underpaid employees is a sin in itself- People need to take off their rose colored glasses and wake up and look around.

Immigrants risk their lives to go to the US because they need money. If they had good pays in their own country, they wouldn't give a d**n about the US. To some degree, they feel safer because they at least have a nice pay check every week.

People believe it's the most evil country because the US invaded Iraq and many people believe they should never have done that. The US will go into a major crisis where there won't be enough money for anything and you'll look at the war and wonder: If there was never an Iraq war, how much money would we have today and would we be in this crisis?

The US may do good things to some extent, but the bad things are also there. If you worked behind the scenes, you'd not only know the truth but many times you'd be told to keep it to yourself, so don't be so naive and think the US is the best because it's just not. If you can't realize that the was was all about gaining oil, you're clueless. Look at what your precious oil is doing to the planet and future. Many people are going BROKE because of this OIL you LOVE SO MUCH. Because they NEED IT and no one has the guts to find something better AND actually stop using cars.

The USA is not evil but there are a lot of problems.  Sure imigrants from third world countries come here, but wouldn't it be better if educated and qualified people came here in even higher numbers.  The imigrants that come usually work in low wage jobs that Americans are not willing to do, so we should be grateful that they are keeping food on our plates, our homes clean, taking care of our kids, and cleaning our offices.

The problems are health care where a family can go broke if one of its members has cancer.  

The problems are that if a family cannot afford the right neighborhood or private schools, the public school system will fail to properly educate our kids.

And perhaps you should look at what America has become under bush - Huge national debt, sub prime debt, largest number of poor and destitute in the civilised world, tented towns for those thrown out of their homes. Breaking international laws by the war in Iraq, rendition, Guantanamo, torture and so much more.

America stands alone as the only country in the world officially endorsing torture!!!

Because many people in this country are uneducated and don't understand why things happen the way they do. Would we like world peace? Yes, we would but the USA is trying to stay on top of things, so when people attack us and  kill our people, we retaliate in the only way we really know how: we go kill their people.

The Current President of the USA has done some things I, and many others disagree with, but that is my/our/their opinion, and only my/their/our opinion, about him, and not about my/our/their country altogether.

I think my country's biggest problem is its economy, but they're are many people working to fix it, and I can only hope we pull through. I don't think the USA is evil, some people in it may be, and I, and others may disagree with some people in this country but on the whole I admire my country and its founding fathers and the principles it was founded on: That each man (and woman) had the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

And that, my friend, is why millions of Illegal Immigrants journey here every year.

They say it because they are Jealous. The English and the French both know that without the US, they would all be under German rule to this day. The English are also still smarting from the beating we gave them in our Revolutionary War of Independence from them.  They were only too glad to accept our help against the n***s, but now they resent it. As for the third world types,  they are nothing now and have been nothing for thousands of years. Yet, we in America have risen to world dominance in less than 250 years.
