Why do people say tyson sucks?

yeah i know hes been sloppy it his past fights but people are saying Kimbo slice can beat him in a fight, dont people know that tyson can still hit? kimbo slice in his fight videos doesnt knock those guys out in seconds, mike tyson probably could do that!

just because kimbos not a pro boxer, doesnt mean hes cant pack a punch. I say, in a boxing match i dont know. MMA kimbo.

I dont know kimbo as I'm not into mma/ufc these days.

But tyson although seemingly past it only needs one hit and could be lucky so I would say he has a good chance :)***

Whoa whoa whoa---  Tyson when he was a fighter is infinitely better at Boxing than what Kimbo is to MMA or brawling or whatever.  But Tyson is no longer a fighter, he doesn't have that killer instinct and doesn't want to fight anymore.  HE QUIT HIS LAST FIGHT!!!  Kimbo is a fighter, like him or not, he is willing to fight.  Mike Tyson is not willing to fight, he might have to try for money, but not because he loves to do it anymore.

probably because tyson today would have trouble fighting a parapeligic infant.

prime tyson- then that is because kimbo trains in mma (at least now he is), and much of the grappling in mma is specifically designed to counter and take advantage of a pure boxer or striker so tyson would find himself on the ground with little or no hope of getting up.

it would be unfair to match kimbo's earlier street fighting vids against tyson in his prime in the same way it would be unfair to match tyson now against kimbo now when he is training with mma greats.

kimbo now vs. tyson in his prime - provided kimbo doesn't try to out slug him- then kimbo.

tyson is no doubt the better puncher, but that is only one range which can and has historically been taken advantage of by someone who can shoot if the puncher can't defend a takedown- as would be tyson's case.

i personally think kimbo would lose, Tyson hands and power are way better than kimbo's besides kimbo did lose a fight, Sean Gannon  beat him, kimbo got knocked down so many times and counted out to 25.
