when trains are so regular and often, what's the problem? ok, the drivers strike but not that often, and thats the fault of the trade unions.

  1. People just like something to moan at

  2. The unions and their right to strike are a sensitive subject for me, personally, and I have already addressed that issue in response to question earlier.  A search of my answers will reveal my thoughts on that.

I am sure there are more than one, but I think it comes down to a matter of convenience, or more properly put, a lack of convenience.  Often times a train depot is still some ways distant from the travelers' ultimate destination, sometimes putting people off.

Other times, people are not interested in expending their energy to cover the remaining distance by foot, or the cost of cab fare.  The latter I can understand, as one may not be able to afford the cab fare, but, with more and more people becoming health conscious, I would think one would welcome the exercise.

  3. The only complaint I have is that some of our Muslim residents seem to want to kill folks using the system.
