  1. As far as I know, people addicted to cocaine, snort the powder from a flat surface, such as a wooden table, glass etc.. most of the times, aided with  a piece of straw......the snuffbox is the concavity on the side of our wrists, there the prominece of two tendons make it deeper (tendon of the thumb abductor and thumb extensor) and is called snuffbox, because in the 18th century, the anatomist that described it in France, noticed that some people snuffed rape (with an accent in the "e") from that concavity (rape was a mixture of tobacco and hasish that was legal at the time),,,

  2. palms get sweaty and the coke sticks to the palm then they l**k it off.

  3. Don't want to sound like a parent, but if you know someone doing drugs, you shouldn't be around them. Remember, you can be guilty by association. If you are with them when they are using or high and get caught, you too can get into trouble.

  4. dude, do you know how hard it is to snort anything from the palm of your hand?

  5. it seems more practical doesn't it? it is its own little receptacle. besides palms get sweaty. and messy. stop looking at people who do coke.

  6. You freak. I am going to glare at you. But:

A light fixture or luminaire is an electrical device used to create artificial light or illumination in architecture. A complete lighting fixture unit consists of the light source or lamp, the reflector for directing the light, an aperture (with or without a lens), the outer shell or housing for lamp alignment and protection, an electrical ballast, if required, and connection to a power source. A wide variety of special light fixtures are created for use in the automotive industry, aerospace, marine and medicine.

Light fixtures are classified by how the fixture is installed, the light function or lamp type.

    Fixture types:

        * Free-standing or portable — table lamps and office task lights (note that the colloquial use of "lamp" to refer to a portable luminaire conflicts with the more technical usage of lamp.)

        * Recessed light — the protective housing is concealed behind a ceiling or wall, leaving only the fixture itself exposed. The ceiling-mounted version is often called a "downlight".

o "Cans" with a variety of lamps — this term is jargon for inexpensive downlighting products that are recessed into the ceiling. The name comes from the shape of the housing.

o Troffer light — recessed fluorescent lights (the word comes from the combination of trough & coffer)

        * Surface-mounted light — the finished housing is exposed; not "flush" with surface

              o Chandelier

        * Pendant light — suspended from the ceiling with a chain or pipe

        * Sconce — provide up or down lights; can be used to illuminate artwork, architectural details; commonly used in hallways and/or as an alternative to overhead lighting.

        * Indirect lighting — light reflects off the ceiling for general illumination

        * Cove light — recessed into the ceiling in a long box against a wall

        * Track light fixture — individual fixtures (track "heads") can be positioned anywhere along the track, which provides electric power.

        * Under-cabinet light — mounted below kitchen wall cabinets

        * Outdoor lighting — used to illuminate walkways, parking lots, roadways, building exteriors, landscape and architectural details.

o Pole or stantion mounted — for landscape, roadways, and parking lots

o Pathway lighting — typically mounted in the ground at low levels for illuminating walkways

o Bollards — A type of architectural outdoor lighting that is a short, upright ground-mounted unit typically used to provide cutoff type illumination for egress lighting, to light walkways, steps, or other pathways

        * High bay/Low bay lighting — typically used for general lighting for industrial buildings

        * Strip lights or industrial lights — often long lines of fluorescent lamps used in a warehouse or factory

        * Emergency lighting or Exit light — connected to a battery or to an electric circuit that has backup power if the main power fails

        * Balanced arm lamp is a spot licht with an adjustable arm like anglepoise and Luxo L1.

  7. simple

so that the cocaine doesnt collect any moisture

  8. Take some salt and put it on your "snuffbox" and put it to your nose. Try the same with the palm of your hand.  I would suppose that you will find it easier to get one up there without spilling it.  (Do not snort the salt)

Another reason may be sweaty palms.  If it gets all wet then you would be snorting paste instead of powder defeating the purpose.  Cocaine that has been cut with other substances will tend to have a very low melting point also.  Palm of your hand might actually melt cheap or poorly cut cocaine.

  9. coke makes your palms sweat - it's a side effect

  10. i would think it's about the amount of moisture present.  plus it seems to be rather innocuous.  when using illegal drugs it is best not to draw attention to that fact.

  11. because the palms are moist and cocaine needs to be perfectly dry to snort ,

also one can make measured  lines on a flat   shiny or smooth surface ,

what   are you doing hanging out with cokeheads???

  12. did you never hear it said that curiosity killed the cat?  that kind of question can lead to the use of this horrible and powerful drug and to drug addiction.  i do not really know why it is snorted from here or there.  i suppose they don't keep it in their palm because of sweat.

  13. The real question is why they snort cocaine at all. What emptiness in their lives is compelling them to find fulfillment in an astronomically expensive, addictive powder?  Sad.

  14. because your palm gets sweaty and it absors into the skin so that is why they dont ever use their hand only surfaces or like anything to put it on.
