Why do people so readily jump to conclusions

  1. Because they want to justify their ignorance.


  2. In my view, when people say "it's because they are ignorant" those people are actually jumping to conclusions as well.

    To do the contrary of what you say others do would mean to take the time to think over if there could be an answer that is not so obvious, to move out of your way what is apparent and try to find what underlies the problem. When you take that time and actually question yourself about the answer then you usually start by asking "when do I do that same mistake?". Only then will you be closer to understanding why so many people jump to conclusions so many times.

  3. Because that's what ignorant people do, and with the general population being ignorant you can expect that to happen alot.

  4. because they don't know how else to react. if no one tells them anything they start over analyzing and build up things in their minds which is ridiculous.

  5. Lack of patients I would imagine.
