Everyone is getting complacent about austrailias ***-kicking to the japan 'B' team. .

how can they really have the means to beat an allstar team like NZ?

I am starting to not recognise some of the austrailian players because there seems to be newones coming through all the time. .

  1. Yeah that's a shame about Gerrard, I fully rate him - never makes a mistake. Gerrard and Clyde Rathbone would have really beefed up the Aussie back line. Shame.

Guys like Adam Ashley-Cooper and Berrick Barnes must be loving being at the cup - But I doubt they are going to run those guys on the bench come the quarters ? - They might as well paint a bulls eye on their jumpers - big pressure games are no place for the newbies.

I'm hoping the Poms get on the right end of a miracle and roll RSA this weekend so the Aussies get a little wake up call in the first quarter final. Eddie Jones is probably praying for the same thing. RSA looks the business, I reckon there is only one other team on their minds - and it's not Australia.

  2. The Aussies are a strong solid team who have been there before. Keeping in mind they have won 2 world cups and lost one final, they know how to be successful and most importantly consistant in a world cup. They play smart against the big teams and show no mercy against the smaller teams, putting Japan to the sword was to be expectedif they didnt there would be war in Australia. The opposition of the Aussies destroying Japan was Ireland struggling against Namibia. The bigger teams like NZ, Aus & S. Africa will always rack up the big points against the lesser nations, teams like Ireland fail to do so and get slated. Teams like Australia hammer Japan so to keep on track.

  3. My money is on Wales beating them on the weekend, in Cardiff...but it would probably make the the ausie route to the finals easier..(as they wouldn't have to face New Zealand in the semi's).

Wales have played well against them in Cardiff in the last two years, and a Welsh club team deviod of all it's first team players (the Ospreys)  beat Auatralia last year.

  4. I think the problem is not the new guys its the ones that just wont go away like Larkham - as an outside back you'd die waiting for him to pass it. Bring on new blood

  5. They won`t now that their star player is out with injury .

Mark Gerrard is the classiest back they had ,now he`s gone their backline wont be near as good.

Sh..it who are these new players you see, Gregan,Larkham, Mortlock, Smith , Tuqiri, and a couple of  others were in there when I was in high school.........
