Why do people stalk people?

I mean what are the motives behind the behavior?

because their lonely , have low self esteem, place no value in themselves, and are obsessive.

I think its dominance and initiating fear.

Sometimes they have a mental problem and the person becomes the object of their fixation and it could be for any reason, maybe they think they're pretty

a maladapted or retrograde animal compulsion to hunt for food,s*x,or other stuff for the home nest or occupants.it's why humans often rob,rape,pillage,plunder,strongarm,commi... genocide,,,,,,,

I always stalk my friends. I personaly think it's fun.
