  1. I was going to vote Democratic in this election but the knuckle head higher ups in the party decided it was more important to make history then actually pick an experienced leader.

They ignored complaints of vote tampering at caucases...all the super delegates backed Obama early on.   They encouraged Hillary to quit even when polls suggested her followers were LESS likely to vote for Obama then Obama's were for her.

If the Democratic party wants to win an election....they need to choose someone who appeals to BOTH sides.......someone who doesn't promise the moon and then tow the party line.

  2. Because cutting taxes makes things cheaper and less pricey. You liberals complain about money expenses while you guys also say that tax cuts are bad. Hypocritical much? And if fighting wars for the sake of battling your enemies isn't good, than what's your other choice hm? Making fake peace agreements that won't work anyway? If your grandmother was raped by someone, would you be like "oh let's make peace, and ****..." NO! so sit down shut up and get a brain, or did they forget to hand that out to you?

PS- what does china have to do with your question?

  3. A lot of people are mindlessly voting for the Republicans because they are brainwashed by hate radio.

  4. Because they do, while the Democrats raise our taxes sky high.

Check with Obama to see if it is okay to keep borrowing from China.  He supports The Global Poverty Act, which will give Africa 845 million.

Plus, he is going to give everyone free health care, along with a million other freebies.  Nothing is free, so perhaps this is your answer.

Why do people want to make a Marxist our next President.  Obama is a globalist, as well.  He wants to see all countries and all people equal.  Have you ever been to a third world country?  Try it.  You won't want to live there.

  5. Nobody should vote for any Republicans any more. It is time to close down the party for ever. Karl Rove taught us just how divisive this party's politics are.

It is disgraceful that we are at war on 2 fronts and that the administration is not paying for the war, just getting us into debt.

Then they have the audacity to accuse Obama of spending too much money on improving our standard of living at home.

WE NEED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE more than another war.

  6. They've got the money so they don't care. When people have to start paying for necessities with wheelbarrows full of money, then it will hit them something is wrong with this picture. Cutting taxes is a political buzzword. Fighting wars is an industrial/military complex problem that Pres. Eisenhower (Repub) warned about a half century. Terrorism is a new political buzzword that resounds among party loyalists.

  7. It just so happens that Bush was in office when Terrorism came to the U.S.

When you are at war, there is a cost for safety and freedom.

We haven't been attacked since 9/11 because Bush has protected us, you should be thanking Bush.

You need to know the cost of one attack.  Just one.

New York Counts Cost of 9/11

The terrorist attack of September 11 could cost New York up to $95bn (£60bn), according to the city's own independent financial watchdog, making it more expensive than America's largest ever natural disaster.

City comptroller William Thompson estimates that America's financial capital has lost 83,000 jobs over the past year. In a report out yesterday he added that prospects for an estimated 63,000 new jobs were erased when last September's fledgling recovery on Wall Street was undermined by the attacks on the World Trade Centre.

The city's jobless rate - at 7.7% in July - is already higher than the national rate of 5.9%.

Mr Thompson reckons it will cost the city almost $22bn to replace the buildings, infrastructure and other amenities destroyed when two hijacked commercial airliners were flown into the twin towers.

The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people and forced the New York stock exchange to close for six days. Many high-profile financial institutions had to relocate from Manhattan to New Jersey.

The collapse of the towers and the damage to property in the Wall Street area removed almost 13m sq ft [1.2m sq metres] of office space from downtown Manhattan.

As well as the cost of the clean-up and rebuilding work, New York has lost nearly $3bn in taxes as companies moved out of Manhattan into temporary accommodation in New Jersey.

The city is likely to have to pick up the tab for $500m in unreimbursed expenses, according to Mr Thompson's calculations.

The financial effects of the September 11 attacks far outweigh the most expensive natural disaster in US history. In 1992 Hurricane Andrew raged across the southern tip of Florida, killing 28 people and causing more than $25bn worth of damage.

New York's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, has already warned that taxes may have to be increased if the city is unable to secure more federal aid as it struggles with a forecast budget deficit next year of $5bn.

Mr Thompson, however, has already made it plain that he will not allow the city to relax its fiscal rules, for fear that New York will find itself repeating the financial crisis that forced the city close to bankruptcy in the 1970s.

Although the terrorist attacks have altered the priorities of New York's politicians Mr Thompson has also made it plain that the city must not forget the need for housing for low and middle-income people in parts of the city.

  8. Simple. These are hardcore republicans. They fall in line and say nothing. They will stay republican whether right or wrong. Another reason is because many of their voters are people who don't like Obama because they won't take the time to know him. They believe what Faux News tells them. Others believe he is a Muslim (which he's not), they fear the name (it's Kenyian), and there are some racist people who won't vote for him due to being Black. Other big corporations are being helped by the republicans, so they will also continue to vote for those who will help them. This is why big corporations are getting better tax breaks and CEO's make more money in one day than the average worker in ONE YEAR. They also cut taxes for the rich and continue to con us with their "Trickle-down Theory" which states more money for the rich, and that money will trickle down to the Middle Class. It never worked when Reagan was in office, and it doesn't work now.

    Make the right choice...

    Obama 08

EDIT:  And to the idiot The Chosen One. You're number 2, if you know what I mean. The only person missing the brain department is YOU....idiot...

  9. vote for the people who act fiscally responsible and will keep our budget in check.  ron paul was the best solution to this question, but he garnered enough votes to remain a secret.

    good question.

  10. vote for Republicans to

1 Quit sending $700billion to countries that hate us just to buy oil that we can get from within our own borders

    2. To prevent the Democrats from turning the country into a scolialist welfare state

  11. Why do people still vote for Democrats who vow to raise taxes and "cut and run" even when we're winning a war?

    McCain/Palin '08

  12. I have some questions, and you may answer it if you can. Were you satisfied with the results of the Korean Conflict? If not Why? Did the Vietnam war end to your satisfaction? How about Desert Storm?

All of these ended as cut and run operations. We are back in the desert because we didn't get to finish it.  We are still having trouble in Korea.

When the planes crashed into the twin towers I think everyone in the nation was calling for retaliation. Now that that is being attempted you are calling for a pull out. We were told that this action would be a long one before the first shot was fired by our side. Just because it is not a simple thing to find the enemy, because they all dress alike, no uniforms, You are crying.

The fact is, A soldier hates war more that the civilian, because we must carry the scars for our lifetimes.

I was in Nam and after over 40 years I still have flashbacks.
