Why do people suck?

ive lost quite a few cell phones and today my sister lost the iphone i worked my *** off to buy her for her 21st birthday.

some kids found it and picked up when she called it and just hung up with no intention to give it back...

WHY DO PEOPLE SUCK??

dont blame their age because im 19 and i always give back lost items !!!

I always return things too -

It is all about your world view.  When a person finds something that does not belong to them they think 1 of 2 ways, they either say to themselves -

"Oh, look what I found, good for ME"

or they think

"Oh look, SOMEONE lost this, now what do I do?"  

The first person feels like they hit the jackpot and their little world is better for it.  

The other person will feel a sense of responsibility to 'fix' the situation and find the rightful owner, they do not feel a sense of ownership, ever.

I find a lot of comfort knowing that people reap what they sow!  I never take ownership of things that don't belong to me -

One day - I left a VCR on the bottom shelf of a cart at Target ...drove 60 miles home and realized I forgot it - I called the Target and sure enough - someone turned it in to Customer Sevice.  NICE!

It's very nice of you to give your sister this awesome phone for her birthday - you don't suck!

On the other hand - Why would you spend all your hard-earnt money on a present for someone? You are 19. Be more sensible with your money! I'm sure your sister would love you no matter what present you got her. Let it be a lesson to you.

People do suck, but people can also be great at times.

Probably because some people hate cell phones. It's not the same as finding a purse or wallet where you would want to return it. Cell phones are those annoying things that some people can't stand and would rather stomp on the thing rather then return it.

Not all people suck, my son who is 14 found a cell phone and call the owner. The owner gave him 20 bucks for finding it. I did not even know anything about it until after it happen. So not all people suck just those ****ing kids who found your sister's phone. Sorry, hope you have a better day!
