I know that it is fear of death and retribution, but how do you convince yourself that a life of sinning can be fixed by repenting ? Do they think God doesn't know why they are doing it?

  1. when you get older you take a closer look at life in a different way. just yesterday i told my husband God gives us so much why don't we pay and go back to church on sundays. it is 1 hour of our tims. we are now going god and church are great

  2. They either have SOME basis in religion when younger, and never really got rid of it, OR, like my grandmother, are just plain loopy enough to convince themselves that being "born again" will cancel out all the bad things they've done and get them into "heaven"! It's pathetic, really.

As for the last question, I asked Grandma and she said, "God will give me credit for trying!"...kind of like the Bonus question on a test...??? Sheesh.

  3. I'm in my sixties and I don't feel that way. All my friends are the same age as me or older and they feel the same way I do. You are talking absolute rubbish. One day you will feel the same as me when you are in your 60's.

Life is great. I don't go to work, I have no worries of any sort. I live in a warm country and I feel good about life.

  4. they begin to wish there was an afterlife..... and according to those religious folk, god is suppost to fix everything bad you have ever done.

  5. I'm 25 and I'm already moderately religious

  6. Honey,

if its from the heart, its from the heart.

I just think we all get more mature, wiser, so all those selfish, or wrong, whatever things we did as we were younger or older, when you develop a relationship with God, things change.

and of course, there are loads of phonys.

    honeychild.
