And what kind of people swear at each other?

I confess, and as you can tell by my user name, I swear in gerneral sometimes but would never dream of swearing at another person - if that makes sense ^_^

  1. Because they feel the word makes their statement more "tough" and "bad" and shows their lack of communication skills.

  2. its usually out of frustration , you want to lash out at somebody and you cant think out anything else to say.

  3. Usually somebody swears at someone else to insult them because they don't have a wide vocabulary.

    Eg

    Bob: You f*cker.

James: :O You ignorant slien from the moon xD

    lol

Or some people swear when they are frustrated or have done something wrong.

    Eg

Bob forgets to put tomatoes in the Tomato soup

    Bob : Oh sh*t

James forgets to turn on the plug socket to charge his phone

    James: Sugar

    lol xD

  4. I would say that it puts emphasis on how mad that person really is, or is supposed to be the ultimate insult. you are a jerk doesn't sound as bad as you are a fu***** jerk.  And it does hurt feelings and the point is driven home.

Some also swear just in everyday conversation just to emphasis a point, like he is fu***** hot opposed to he is hot.

But really i don't know why it is necessary to swear at people.  I know i am guilty of it from time to time.
