Why do people tag and do graffiti?

Well, nothing against teens or anything but a lot of the people who tag and do graffiti are teenagers. Most are influenced by peer pressure or they are dared to do it. Also they may do it to get into a specific group or "posse" or because they think it's "cool"

They do that to show turf, like a cat when it marks its territory, they also do it by throwing shoes on the pole lines, its to show that someone lives on that street that is involved.

The also do the same with color, green, red, blue an so on .

Kids may be kids, but it leads to more dangerous thing .

I helped start a anti gang after school program in my community. with the police , and reformed X gang members it worked. We open the door after school, we have teachers to help , books where donated, TV , VCR,  have DR. come in to see the kids,  all sorts of things , more city's should look in to it, there is allot more that takes place. Then just that , the kids grow  see life in a better light.
