Why do people take the mick out of canada?

like on the simpsons or other comedy shows saying canada is rubbish or is wierd

im fron the uk so dont really understand

Well im from Canada, Maybe its just comedian shows thats why.

Canada is really one of the best Countries in the world. Its free, good education and multiculturee.dddd

I would never take the micky out of Canada, if you have forgotten the second world war I haven't, I believe they were called  chanutes, I don't really give a sood  they were wonderful soldiers and so many died at Diep, saving people like you.  I have not mentioned the air war, I have no wish to rub it in, but do know you are because a lot of people gave there lives including the Canadians, and many other people

It's just a joke, as we share a border and many cultural aspects (language etc). We like to make fun of Canada because they are so non-confrontational and quiet on the world stage. However, those are the things that I admire about Canada. It's more sibling rivalry than anything, with America being kind of the bullying older brother.

i'm tired of the f*cking stereotypes!!

-I see thousands of people almost daily, no one says "eh" or pronounces words like "a-boot" instead of about. etc.

-It's not always cold. it gets d**n hot sometimes. maybe way up north it's cold, but i don't think many people live there.

-we have normal police

-we do have great scenery a lot of places, but that's not what we're all about
