When people with turrets have a tick, they usually cuss and flick you off unintentionally, but why do they cuss and not yell something else during a tick?

  1. Ive always wondered that also....

  2. That's actually copralilia which goes with about 15% of Tourretes sufferers. I don't know to much about it.

  3. They know those are bad words so they use it when they're in a tick I guess.

  4. Um, I take HUGE offense to that.  I happen to have TOURETTE'S Syndrome and I do NOT, repeat NOT do that.  I don't cuss as a tic, and the flip offs I give, like the one I just gave to you, are VERY intentional.  The tics I have, and most people with Tourette's probably have similar tics, are whistling, squeaking, rolling my eyes, twitching my nose, etc.  Not cussing and flipping off.

Get a life and quit making assumptions about people with Tourette's.  B!t(h, let me tell you something about assumptions.  When you make an assumption, you'll be an @ss and the Ump will Shun you.  Get it got it good.
