Why do people these days only care about looks it doesn't makes sense to me?

People that only care about looks are shallow and only caring about looks is wrong you should care more about the person inside not how they look on the outside.

There's a high chance that the person above me and below me are hypocrites and are shallow themselves.

Looks are important to some small extent. The person doesn't need to be attractive in the eyes of society, only in your eyes. In order for something to work there's got to be some level of attraction there.

Personality takes a bigger slice of the pie though. Without a great personality, I wouldn't even bother with the person! A great personality can make you fall in love with a person.

personality...i dont wear make up but i would if i needed it ( not being mean) so i dont care about looks but i like funny people that want to always have fun and laugh A LOT

it's nice to look good and all but that's not what matters in life. Personality matters. I rather have a great heart and a good personality than look like a princess and have an ugly heart
