Why do people think America is even declining?

Let's face it, America is awesome, the most awesome country in the world, and twice as awesome as the Rome, I daresay. As we are twice as awesome as Rome, we are bound to last twice as long, and, doing the math, Rome lasting for 1200 years, we should be able to last for 2400 years. So why are people claiming that we are declining, even though America is only 232 years old?

Maybe if america stop bombing other countrys and spending billions on bombs.They can use that billions to build a better america

Look around you. We are declining, economically/financially. That means we are in deep debt, bankruptcy, low/worthless Dollar, and putting ourselves into the bottom of a hole that will be hard to climb out.

You cannot claim that we are "awesome", because the government is only putting us into deeper sh*t, bro. Wake up, smell the coffee already. Our own government is s******g you, how? By extending troops overseas, by financing governments, monarchies, puppet regimes, the occupations, and this will decline the Dollar. And so what if America is only 232 years old, we have gone way out of line, by ignoring our own Constitution, and ignoring monetary advice from the Founders. Good luck.

Wake up and smell the roses.  America, economically, is currently declining.  It doesn't mean that we can't get it back, but there is an awful lot of work to do right now to get there.

America globalized the world, but forgot to globalize itself.  IOW we left ourselves in a hole and we've got to dig out of it now.

im not saying that its declining but things arent going to great. were a major country and yet more than half of the country doesnt have healthcare. everyone is in debt and theres no money flowing into the economy. so yeah

Yes there are great things about America but there is no reason we can't fix the problems we have.  The declining is obvious to the rest of the world.  Can't you see it?
