I, for one, appreciate his superb diplomatic skills in foreign affairs,  He kept us OUT of war with several close calls.

I think much of the American public paid little attention to what was going on those days because we were doing so well here at home. It was very dicey more than once during the Clinton administration and Bill Clinton kept us out of war!

That is also a major reason I supported Hillary.  If you were against war, you should have backed Hillary -- not Obama!

The economy was a farce really.  

The dotcom boom as you referred to it happened because there was no oversight and companies were lying about how good they were doing ya know Arthur Anderson, Enron, MCI Worldcom Global Crossing and many many more of the book cooking scandals.  this was all going on by the mid 90s and the economy already started its downturn 2 years before Clinton left office.

Had the administration then pushed the SEC to look into this more it could have been caught much earlier and some of it not happened.

But why do that when your on your 2nd term and things appear to be good so you can leave with a legacy.

As far as military.  Bill Clinton deployed more military than Reagan and Bush sr combined yet cut the overall defense budget by over 25%.

Thats how he 'balanced the budget'  

Remember when in Iraq the troops didnt have the proper equipment they needed 5 years ago.  well since it was bills administrations budget through 2001 at least. there wasnt money initally to buy the things needed.

You know if you had a business and your accountant told you you had more money than you really had in your accounts and you also fired some of your employees and cut the budget on supplies you might make a case that your business was doing well because your financial statement looked good.  But it really doesnt make sense now does it.
