Why do people think NAdal is better than Federer? Tell me please?

Nadal is good but #1 is just a bit out of his reach.

This season, Nadal has outperformed Federer in a big way.  He obliterated Federer in the French Open and took Wimbledon this year.  The two are equally matched in so many ways, but Nadal has been able to pull out victories where Federer has not.   The rankings that are most frequently referred to rightly show Federer as number 1.  This is based on the 52 week point system.  There is another ranking system that tallies only for that year and is used to determine the top 8 players who will participate in the Masters Cup Tournament.  So far this year, Nadal has 955 to Federer's 689.  

There is also talk that Federer's game is slipping while Nadal is improving.  Althought I agree that Nadal has greatly improved his game, Federer having a slow year is not a sign of slipping.  I think he deserves a bit more time before we write him off.  After all, he may not be winning like he did in 2007, but frequent trips to the semifinals and finals is nothing to scoff.  How many top 10 players haven't won a slam because of Federer or Nadal, but are still considered elite players?  

I think Nadal has more to do take over number 1, but that distinction will be Federer's for a bit longer.

Nadal has all the necessary tools to beat the current #1. He has the talent, speed, strength and has the mental focused to acheived that objective. As for Federer it is time he realises that whatever gift or talent that was given to him is not meant to be permanently his. He has to keep striving hard and to stay up there but then the wheel of life......

He's beaten Federer at Roland Garros & Wimbledon & is  younger, fitter & acheived more at the age of 22 that Federer  did at the same age;

Rafa is also more grounded , talented & gorgeous .

Nadal has beaten Federer four times this year: at Monte Carlo Final, Hamburg Final, Roland Garros and Wimbledon Final. He has improved a lot and will surpass Federer sooner or latter. No doubt about it

Nadal is my second favorite player on tour after Roger. I don't really like to compare the 2 b/c their playing styles are so different.  Nadal is a physical player but Roger is mentally tough and he's got the best shots in the game. Roger is the best player ever.

I don't understand people like you.. i mean, no offense to other Federer's fans, but Federer himself has a lot of respect for Nadal.. After Nadal won the wimbledon, he said "Look, Rafa is a deserving champion"..

People said that Nadal better than Federer because recently, especially this year, Federer haven't beat Nadal, even on grass.. When somebody can't beat someone, it means that this somebody is not better than this someone..

I think both of them are good players,

but the answer 2 ur Q:he has beaten Federer this year and most of the people just consider Now.they don't consider the whole things.they think that because Nadal has beaten Roger this year and has a better head-2-head result than roger so he is much more better.but in my opinion Roger is better than Rafa.because I think roger is so geniuse and plays with his thoughts.although Rafa improves 2 much but he should do so much more 2 be just a little bit like Roger.

People who are devoted fans will always have their excuses as to why their idol is better than the other. Myself personally I'm a huge Federer fan, but I also love Rafa. I don't think either of them is better than the other, there both classy, fit and fantastic players and I love watching them play each other, I really like both. It is seemingly a hard road for Rafa to get to number one in the hard court season because let's face it, he's not very good on faster courts, he's improved but he's not as good as Federer. This could be his big chance because Federer has allot of points to defend while Rafa has many to gain, it all just depends on how far Fed and Rafa go in the upcoming tournaments that will determine it. I think Rafa will get to be number 1 but probably for a few weeks though.

no doubt nadal is an excellent athlete

but hes been improving so much

people think nadal is better than fed because he beat him and french and wimbledon.

they also think fed is out of form because he has only won 2 titles but fed doesn't play as many comps as the rest of the tour meaning he would have less comps to win.

I think nadal needs to prove himself on the hardcourts first because half the season and 2 slams are on hardcourt and so far he hasn't done that well. He also had a fair bit of luck at AO08 when one of his opponents that challenged him majorly pulled out.
