Why do people think it's wrong to ask about Sarah Palin and feminism?

I asked a perfectly legitimate question on what is a current event, and someone apparently complained and I got a violation notice email even after the best answer had been decided upon! Why is it ok to ask baiting questions re: her daughter but NOT ok to ask about actual issues and stances re: her politics?

Well, since feminism has never been about abortion ( the abortionists made it about abortion) it is about equal rights under the law, than Sarah Palin is a feminist. About the violation, that sucks people are too thin skinned if you do not like the question move to a different question.

Please continue to ask legitimate questions. I don't give a rats posteria about her looks, but I'd like to know if she can handle the job.
