Why do people think most divers are g*y?

Why do a lot of people think divers are g*y? I've heard the Thomas Finchum, Thomas Daley, David Boudia, and Matt Mitcham are g*y. Seriously, are they?

And Tomas Daily isn't g*y, plus hes only 14.

But Mathew Helm from the AUS team is.

My guess is that the idiots in this country equate speedo with being g*y , which is stupid. It is the fashion police who say such assinine things. I do beleive that Thomas Pincham has come out as g*y, but that does not make every diver g*y.And anyhow, if they were, whos business is that other than that persons?

i know a lot of divers (im one too) & a lot of them seriously are... its a little weird but whatever floats their boat. and Thomas Daley.. g*y?? NO! he's hottt! :D

It's the same for male gymnasts, ice skaters and dancers.  Because it's, stereotypically, a girls sport they assume they're g*y or just really girly.  But they're really difficult sports (if anyone says other wise I'd like to see them do an inward flip or wear point shoes!)

Just ignore it, who ever says that doesn't know what they're talking about if they assume ALL divers are g*y.  Don't get me wrong it is completely possible for some of them to be g*y, but that's because they're people not because they're divers.
