Why do people think of all muslims as bad?

Why do you people think that all muslims are bad just because they are muslims? We all know that some muslims have done terrible things but we other muslims had nothing to with it so why are we being blamed for it when we couldn't have been a part of it? But then there's other people with other religions and when somebody from their religion does something horrible they don't get the evil stares and all that rude talk. It's so unfair! Why do you people do this?! Please answer honestly because I really want to know because I hate the people who ask the the rude questions about islam and muslims and I hate the whispers and the rude stares. Hello people we're in America!!! Freedom of religion!!! If your gonna live in America you have to be able to respect other people's religions!
