Question:

Why do people think so little of Stripping?

Well I'm thinking about going into that industry [No I'm not trying to make money for college] and I really love being s**y and dancing provocatively and I think for a little while it'd be a very good job for me. But I'm really not so sure why someone would call it "S****y" or call an exotic dancer or stripper whichever you prefer a w***e because of her job. I mean some girls in ballet or other forms of dance where less clothes then an exotic dancer. Just curious.

  1. It's mindless. You go up and sell the image of yourself.

  2. I believe people would generally call that type of "dancer" S****y or a w***e because she isn't actually dancing. She's strutting around in semi-rhythmic movements, all while rubbing her b*****s and genitals in someones face in exchange for money.

  3. because so many of the girls who strip also offer "services" outside of what is legally allowed.....why do you think there is that big of an industry for this.  my man thinks it is disgusting

  4. if that's what you feel like doing, well...it's really your prerogative

you clearly know what to expect from the rest of society going into it, so why stop there?

if you honestly don't care for people's opinions then you should just do it, which is odd, because clearly you do cuz...why would you post this question here if you weren't interested in other people's opinions? anyhoo...

you have to understand that, though there are some exotic dancers out there that don't actually do the rubbing of the bodies on 'patrons' or each other in front of 'patrons', people are going to generalize the profession.

expect afterwards though, that there are some jobs that you could be held back from getting for doing so.

expect that, because you like to dance provocatively in front of the general public, people will assume that you are willing to take it much further than that and try to take advantage of you, it's not exactly a safe industry. assuming that you will always be safe is not exactly intelligent.  heck you asking this question says that you KNOW society doesn't see the profession the way you do, so you should already know there are dirty men out there that will try something no matter how YOU feel about the profession.

expect that, you'll more than likely have relationship problems with such a profession.

i think that if it were along the lines of dancing artistically while naked, (which i've actually seen...there is a big difference), then ya that would be different, but you're talking about dancing s**y and provocatively.

i'm a little confused as to why you don't understand why people would assume you're a s**t when you like to dance s**y and provocatively in front of everybody.  s**y and provocative moves are quite SUGGESTIVE and even more so when you're half naked.

and let's be honest, there has to be a certain way that dancing like that makes YOU feel.  i mean if i'm dancing s**y and provocatively, i don't think i'd get off the stage feeling the same way i do after i've performed hip hop or ballet.  you have to be getting more of a hormonal rush from s**y and provocative moves than you would ballet or tap or jazz or hip hop.

if its something you really want to do, by all means do it, you already know what's ahead of you.  or you could just reserve it for your private moments with your significant other, who i'm more than sure, would REALLY appreciate the fact that he gets that treat ALL to himself.

  5. because professional ballet, jazz and hip hop dancers etc...train for years to become how good they are, they have to work so hard at it, you have no idea how much training they go through. where as practically any girl who can move can be a stripper or exotic dancer and yes i think it is S****y, nobody should sell themselves like that

  6. I would have to disagree strippers take all of their clothing OFF and slide on poles. Ballet and stripping are not even comparable.

I believe people feel it's degrading to women. To have men stare at your breast and below the belt while you rub your v****a on a pole for money. I believe the S****y concept comes in because your doing it for multiple men at a time. I mean everyone in the club has visual access to your v****a and butt.
