  1. well i can say one thing. the gas shortage that is sure to come is only going to enforce the republicans and palins state of alaska.drill here drill now. mccain /palin 08

  2. That is pretty much exactly what Ron Paul just said on Fox News.  I agree with both of you.

  3. It's a mental illness indulged in by the wacky far-left wingnut "community".

While it's preventable through willful exercise of personal responsibility, that "community" has a firm committment to NEVER exercise personal responsibility. Therefore, instead of FEELing sorry for them, we should deport them to Zimbabwe, where their s**t disturbing ways would soon be beaten out of them by folks who've made a career of straightening out miscreants.

BTW, and in the context of hurricanes, the inbred idjut Al Gore should be on the first plane to Harare after that super wacky far-left wingnut "prediction" he made the year after Katrina that we were going to have "the worst hurricane season on record." Of course, we went on to have the MILDEST hurricane season on record that year. Just ANOTHER Inconvenient Truth. So much for Algae the Green Guy's cheap, made-in-Zimbabwe crystal ball.

  4. just an ironic twist

    I like McCain's Comment

This is just ONE of those moments in history where you have to put America first."

  5. I guess for some we could call it "human nature" to think someone or something else is responsible for the weather. For example, there are a lot of fundamentalist Christians who use the weather for whatever cause they are against...God is punishing lesbians, God is punishing Muslims, God is...personally, I think it's hilarious.

  6. Yes it is strange to equate natural disasters with Government inputs. But equally some people think it is an act of God.........equally strange.

    Hi, Ms S.

  7. Because liberals set out to destroy the Republican party.  They have been on this campaign of blaming everything from Hurricanes to wildfires on this president.  What made it work for them was that their constituents are so ******* stupid they'll believe anything.

  8. Acts of nature are not government's fault,  but the government's emergency response is under their control.  When government controls who can respond and how, and they s***w it up as they did with Katrina, then government can be blamed for its failure to do the job right.

  9. Because people fail to take personal responsibility.  You don't see c**p like this in Florida.  We have our act together and know what needs to be done when a hurricane approaches.

  10. No one with any brains suggests that the government causes hurricanes. As far as responsibility is concerned, the government at the local, state and federal levels is responsible for damage prevention (levies, etc) emergency preparations, evacuation plans and response and execution of  plans when a natural emergency occurs,  should be held accountable for how they handle those responsibilities including voting people out of office if they egregiously fail to fulfill their responsibilities.
