  1. Then stick to your beliefs. Why does it matter what others tell you if you believe what you believe?

You don't owe anyone an explanation.

  2. A lot of people feel threatened by people who have strong convictions that go against what they think is the trendy way to be. They make themselves feel better by saying those that disagree with them are repressed/brain washed.

  3. Its your choice to make, not others. Since you are not the kind of person that forces your opinion on others, the only reason they could think your brainwashed and repressing is that they are narrowminded. Narrowmindedness deserves ignorance of it, as a reward.

  4. actually its a good thin u r parents r strict..

  5. As long as you don't foist your opinions on anyone else- then I don't see why anyone would think those things of you- but if on the other hand you do rather like telling people your beliefs then they might think you are on a mission and therefore brainwashed-

Most people like to "try before they buy" cos bad s*x can destroy a relationship no matter how much you love their personality and all that- and it gives you chance to find out if either of you have interesting habits which may not be what you want to indulge in.....

  6. Why do you care what people think?  Live your life according to your standards and be proud that you do.  If someone harangues you, smile at them with pity (don't argue), forgive them and move on.  Never, ever compromise who you are because someone else thinks you should.

  7. You are welcome to live by any rules or standards you set for yourself.  But no matter what your beliefs, you will always meet people who choose different paths, and some will be critical of yours.  If you let them get to you or waste time worrying about their motivations, your life will pass you by....

  8. Babe, stick to your beliefs like glue and NEVER let anyone change them.

I am both an anti-abortion girl and a no s*x before marriage girl and these are both purely my own choice. My older brother became a father before he got married, my parents brought us up with the values of wait until marriage to have s*x and anti-abortion but always said that once we hit sixteen the choice with what we believed was entirely up to us and they respected our opinions and choices no matter what they were.

  9. people who say others are brainwashed are just too stupid to defend their own position.

Unless you've been held in a torcher chamber deprived of sleep and nutrition and subject to hours of screeming, you've probably never been brainwashed.

We all come from different homes, with different beliefs and we should respect a person who holds to their principles.

  10. Because they themselves are brainwashed.  I seriously don't know a single person who can't at least respect others beliefs that do not harm others.

  11. What's the problem then?

If YOU believe that for yourself then who cares what other people say about it.

It is the same thing as SOME anti-abortion people thinking that we pro-choicers are murderers.  I could really care less what they have to say.

    Cheers

  12. Because we are living in a time when there is a powerful campaign to undermine the moral fabric of a sound society.

  13. As long as you aren't trying to force your views on others it's fine
