Why do people think the economy is so bad?

As a real estate investor, developer and builder the housing market was overvalued. Now my company is finding great land values and great multi family positive cash flow values. In a capitalists economy there are winners and losers, wouldn't it be boring if you just knew your investments were appreciating at only 3%/year. The excitement is not knowing, maybe +10% or minus 10% for the year. Gas prices? I like them high! Less people zooming by my lake house with those stupid jet skis that sound like chain saws. Also now we are really looking at alternative fuels. What is a strong economy anyway...more people buying junk at wal-mart? Stop crying and to those college kids never vote for a socialist’s regime. We don't want to breed dependants. Vote low taxes....Vote no universal health care...vote no estate tax...vote only a 15% capital gains tax for the money you gambled on in the markets....vote McCain.

  1. Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons that are paying the business loans of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-Democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.

  2. lucky you to have so much money.  the economy is bad because all the money is with people that don't need so much, but are just greedy.

sorry, but i've never yet met a poor builder or estate agent.

who is McCain and is he ( i presume) going to make the country a fairer place to live and work?

  3. A national debt around 9 trillion dollars (around $31,000 per US Resident, a budget turnaround from surplus to deficit not seen since WWII), decline of the value of the US Dollar, rising gas prices means people have to pay more to drive, and the price of nearly everything rises because oil is required for the production and consumption of nearly every product.. Hundreds of thousands being forced out of their homes by the foreclosure crisis (more than one percent of all US homes are at some point in the foreclosure process, that number was around .53% in December 2006), banks failing as a result (and government bailouts of banks, putting the burden of banks onto already stressed taxpayers), falling home values, a mismanaged and unnecessary war in Iraq costing around 2 trillion dollars.. Yeah, some wonder why people think the US economy is so bad.

Listen, if you are economically well off, congratulations. More power to you. But please recognize that this economic crisis is about more than Americans not being able to buy as much cheap c**p at Wal-Mart and not being able to go out on jet skis as often. Many middle and lower class Americans are having trouble paying their bills, while the rich are getting tax cuts and government spending is increasing.

  4. Wow, now that's just being selfish! At least you have a stupid lake house to listen to people on their jet skis zoom by. I would kill for that! Just because you have money and aren't struggling doesn't mean other people aren't! Oh, and by the way, you're building those fancy little housing developments and such and no one can afford to buy them because they're too busy buying gas that is so high!! So when we have another depression (which one is coming) nobody will be able to buy food much less a house and you'll be out of business. Then who will be crying? Certainly not the poor people because they'll be use to it already but the rich will be upset because they can't afford a new fancy car or laptop. The economy IS bad. Why don't you realize that?!
