Why do people think there's something wrong with you if you don't want s*x with anyone anymore?

I used to be VERY into s*x but now I'm not. I'm no newbie at it. I'm 41 years old (people remain sexually interested all of their lives - it's not age).

I'm just sick of the way people/media etc. place so much importance on it. For me, it used to be pleasurable but now I just think of how smelly and yucky people's crotches are and I just don't want to go there anymore. I've done my bit as far as procreation is concerned. I've helped populate the species but now, when my wife wants s*x, I cringe. I think, "You don't want me to go down THERE again, do you?" but it would be impolite to say that and people just don't believe you if you tell them, "I'm just not interested in s*x anymore!"

Why do people think there's something wrong with you if you don't want s*x?

Sounds like your testosterone levels may be low.  Why not consult your doctor before you lose your wife/marriage?

Tell her to clean up her act and you won't mind visiting more often.

I can assure you that not all women smell like roadkill. =)

Its a matter of personal hygiene. Take care of it and it will be presentable. Don't take care of it and it can turn into a filthy place such as what you've encountered.

And really, I wouldn't be too much interested in a person who didn't care for themselves in that area either.. nothing's wrong with you. <3
