  1. Probably because "wireless" can be really confusing.

    Your question was ambiguous. "Wireless in a router" is typically 802.11 "Wi-Fi" networks sharing a local internet connection. That same wi-fi can be used by an ISP for connecting people to the internet. The range of this can sometimes mean you can pick up your neighbor's wi-fi.
