Why do people torture their belly button?

I dont understand it myself.. people get piercings in the strangest places.. none of which are very appealing. The ears are alright.. but i dont want a girl with 10 earrings in each ear.

haha do you have a belly button phobia? my aunt is grossed out with anything to do with belly buttons. she almost threw up when i showed her my navel piercing.

Are you talking about a navel piercing?  It's not torture.  I don't have my belly button pierced, but I do have several other piercings.  My parents are absolutely horrified, but I like them!
