Why do people travel iran now?

FACT iranians not some ........ guys like arabs , is really love foreign peoples, like me... i really like peoples who come to our country from other countries i stead of arabs that i hate them .. i like americans & germanies & japanies $ chinies and all the others. but in these days our country has captured by really wild government and yet i see some foreign peoples travel iran and they go to worse places like our downtown that we can't go there and there is really bad guys and poor peoples that they are really dangerous. why do they do that? what is the attract of it?

I guess some people must be inquisitive and want to find out if the portrayal from the media is true, which it isn't.. that makes up a very small minority of people though, I can't see Iran ever becoming a popular tourist destination such as places like Greece, Spain etc.

I have lived in Iran for 2 years - I really liked it, such a different culture to UK and some amazing places. I particularly loved Persepolis and would definitely encourage people to see it.

You must surely have been? All those bits down south were amazing actually - some really great history.

I think is clear: there is many places too see in Iran. of cours fo shoppers Dubai is much better but Iran is a place for intelgient visitors, people who likes history and civilization. Persepolis near Shiraz for exemple is a magic place. poeple are kinde in Iran and after a visite in Iran, you belive lesse CNN and daily Telegraphe!

I am going to Iran in October. Its supposed to be a beautiful country with friendly people, interesting sights and loads of history.
