Why do people treat interracial dating like its risky?

Question

I'm all for interracial dating. Some guys are always telling that white girls can make false accusations of rape and assault on black guys, and their lives are ruined forever.

Is interracial dating really risky? Are a majority of white girls who date interracially do this?

Now, I'm not trying to ask a racist question, but this is what I've heard from guys and from people online.

It's only a risk to your social status outside of that specific relationship. Dating relationships between races are just one of many differences between two people that might be noticed and affect the relationship. Wealth, health, religious beliefs, age, etc. are also things that can be different between people in a dating relationship. You can't control what others think. Someone's always bound to disapprove.

There was a time when interracial dating was certainly hazardous to a black man's health.  Although rare, if white women were caught in the company of a black man, or became pregnant, they would hollar rape.  Although women can still level false rape charges aganist men, black as well as white, there is no automatic knee-jerk conclusion that the "victim" is telling the truth, especially in a court of law.

But what still remains risky is the peer pressure and opposition you may encounter, especially from her associates and loved ones, some of whom may still regard you as subhuman.

I really don't know where you're getting this info from.  First off, any girl of any race can make a rape accusation against any man.  Perhaps the only "race" factor that may come into play is when a white woman accuses a black man of rape, a charge/sentencing is more likely to be handed over, statistically speaking.

Risky?  I really don't get the question, and anyone who thinks like this just puzzles me.

Many Black men do come as stronger than what they should. It's nothing to do with their being Black - there are as many a******s among White men. Learn to treat women with respect and SHE will initiate things for you. Revise your basic techniques in approaching women - we hate creeps.

interracial dating is becoming more accepted, there are alot of mixed babies being born and they are starting to out number same race births. its cliche. i am in a interracial relationship and its a little hard because people are use to seeing white chixs and black guys, not black chix and white guys. in my opinion guys r guys and girls r girls onlyt thing that seperates us is our skin color. plus people who treat it as being risky are closed minded and afraid of change.

U know, I'm really interested in girls OUT OF MA RACE, N i only like white, Black girls, and I'm south asian. To same it brothers people, i used to get brothered with it too but as i matured and learned i would do the same if i had the chance, but i haven't yet but when i do plan to date, I would prefer a White woman the most OF ALL.
