People always say "look at the internet, how messed up they are" and you see the same 20 or 30 people a thousand times so it looks like every user is a wreck. Millions of people around the world use meth, yet there are only a few people that are messed up in relation to users. Doesn't seem right...should be way more if what they're saying is true, that everyone gets messed up. Like flying, people die, but most don't. We see thousands of pictures of crashed planes but we know its only a few crashes, just multiple, multiple pictures. Yet with meth use, people see a few photos and think EVERYONE is like that. It's not true people. It's the loners and nerds who are not accepted for whatever reason who critizize those livin' the "high" life. Loosen up, have a beer, quit watching friends and american idol....later. I think it looks like obvious overkill so people use and see its not that bad, whereas if you didnt talk about it people (kids especially) would not do it. Just my opinion.

  1. I come from a family where pretty much everyone has a problem with meth and I can tell you that those pictures you see are pretty accurate.

And if you don't think it's that bad think of this - my aunt Angela died in May after 6 years of using meth ... she was only 33 years old. She had a 14 years old daughter she left behind. When she died she was only 87 lbs and looked closer to 50 years old than 33 years old. I would say thats a pretty bad thing.

  2. If you re-read what you have posted, I am sure you will find you have to look really hard to find any sense in what you are trying to say, and even then, it is only the tiniest amount. Everyone I have every known who has been a meth user has been a loser and a burden to the ones who love them whom the user has no problem continually hurting for their own selfishness. Go ahead, keep living your "high" life. Someday,  a long way down the road, you will realize what you were actually living was the low life. IMO of course.

  3. I absolutely don't believe that the information available about meth use is a lie.  Meth is a highly addictive, easily manufactured drug that is becoming more and more prevelant.  Meth is so dangerous and addictive, that the federal government has passed laws limiting how much OTC allergy and sinus medication a citizen can buy.  The high cost of meth use has led directly to laws stating you  have to present your license to the pharmacy to buy medications such as Avil Cold and Sinus which were previously unregulated?  Long term use can lead to dependency, psychosis (halucinations, memory loss, repeditive motor activiteis and paranoia), anorexia, stroke, liver or heart failure.

It can cause you to become delusional, paranoid and suffer from hallucinations and can also lead to psychotic behavior even months after you stop using.

It can decrease your appetite and often leaves you with a sickly, skeleton-like appearance.

Use meth and you can kiss your pearly whites goodbye. Meth seems to take a terrifying toll on a your mouth. It may be a lack of saliva leaves behind bacteria which can eat away at teeth and gums or users often neglect personal hygiene and forget to brush their teeth. Either way, meth mouth is pretty darn gross.

Makeshift meth labs can be set up anywhere — from bedrooms to garages to children's play areas to motel rooms — and can cause serious health hazards to you, your family, friends and neighbors. Cooking meth produces large amounts of highly toxic waste which often gets dumped in yards, alleys and streets. Meth labs can explode, they can contaminate the environment, and they can endanger children (injury from fire, malnutrition, physical and sexual abuse, overdose, and exposure to toxic chemicals, just to name a few.)

Meth can cause extreme mind and mood changes including irritability, anxiety, euphoria, confusion and severe depression. It can also result in episodes of aggressive and violent behavior.

Because meth stimulates the central nervous system, it can keep users awake and wired all night and even for days afterward using. When the binge is over, however, most users crash — becoming severely depressed, disoriented and unable to function. Long term effects can include chronic fatigue.

Meth can enhance your s*x drive, although, ironically, it can also cause impotence. And if that doesn't scare you — this might: When high on meth, often the last thing on ausers mind is protection, which can lead to the contraction of HIV/AIDS.

Sores and scabs are common among meth users who methodically pick at their skin because they feel compelled to do so, or scratch it because they think there are bugs crawling underneath it.

Meth users may experience liver, kidney, lung, and heart problems — all of which can be fatal.

I'd like to believe that drugs such as meth are not a problem, that it is, rather, the users that can't handle it; however, the fast spread of the drug and the unbelievable toll it has had on the country proves otherwise.

People should be able to 'losen' up and enjoy a beer - its funny though, i have never heard of a beer plant blowing up and killing or maiming people!!

Meth is a serious problem, go on-line, do some real reasearch and see if you don't change your mind

  4. Yeah, most of what you hear about drugs from the media is propaganda, and I usually have a relaxed attitude towards most drugs. But I know for a fact that meth is nasty s--t. I knew a guy who was addicted to it for about two weeks, he gave a detailed description of what it was like to come down from it. Not fun stuff.

  5. Some dope is fairly benign...such as pot. But meth is poison,

no more, no less. It starts with giving you a high, you feel all

powerful, great, and can do anything you think.

Then it hooks you, you need more of it, realize you're not

getting anything done for all the "energy" you get, and you

start getting wiggy and psycho on it, think someone is out to

get you, and you lose lots of weight, get sores all over, and

would sell your grandma to get some more.

Harmless! **** NO!!! I have lost friends and people behind

this stuff, died and went crazy both. Got ripped off by a

"Friend" when the meth monster got him. Seen it and been

    there. Speed kills, always has.

  6. ...to each their own...meth is bad and ruin many a families, men, women and child...

...once on the hook...good luck, making a comeback...

  7. Look honey, I'd rather have Weed, LSD, Shrooms and Snow all legal than have Meth on the street.

Meth is the wrost drug out there, I KNOW because I watched it slowly kill my stepson over the coarse of three years, he was only 34. He died May 19th of this year. He died in his fathers arms, it was the worst  night of my life: sitting there knowing there wasn't a d**n thing I could do. I'm only 26 and this experience has really changed how I look at drugs.

  8. You are not asking a question.  You are just seeking validation for what you want to believe.  Go ahead and believe the bullshit.  It's your body and your brain on the way down the toilet.

  9. Yeah, keep telling yourself that, if it makes you feel better.  You, sir, are a fool.
