Question:

Why do people use YA! as a journal?

Isnt it against community guidelines to use YA as a vent or for chatting?

Don't you think it's lovely when people email you telling you how rude you are because you didnt tell them what they wanted to hear? But they dont accept reply's so you cant defend yourself.

How many of you think that if you opt to not accept emails from other YA! users then you should not be allowed to send them yourself?

I for one, think that would be an excellent rule.

  1. The e-mail feature allows people to "take the issue outside."  Want to keep discussing the topic with someone?  Use e-mail rather than clutter up the question's thread.

As for the e-mail acceptance issue itself, technically if you say that no one can e-mail you, then you can't e-mail others either.  So that must mean they temporarily allow e-mails, send you something mean, then re-block their e-mail.  Sounds kind of childish.

  2. Well I don't see a problem in having people give answers on their opinions on something.

  3. I agree.  People will email me telling me this or that, then right after they email me switch off their email, or block me.  My email is always available, and the only people I have blocked (with one exception) are those that have blocked me first.

  4. I think you just used this question to vent.  Hypocrit.

  5. its good!
