  1. because they don't know about the game.I mean not smth from our time, but the ancient one- like a chess etc,.

  2. For the same reason as why people use anxious when they really mean eager. Most people are lazy and redefine words instead of using a dictionary to find a more appropriate one.

  3. There are people that think bigfoot is able to appear and disappear and that is obviously paranormal.  In the bigfoot community, these people are generally shunned.  I agree with you, if it exists, it is flesh and blood and it has nothing to do with paranormal anthing.

  4. Because they think they're smart but they're not I bet they misspelled allot in their answer as well. On a side note that you made. God is a made up character that has been given credit for the creation of everything. He is then used to keep people in the societal norms of the ancient world 'the wrath of god'. And how did they say it was proven what with fairies and antigravity machines that’s the only way it could be proven and still be paranormal and besides its not all been proven otherwise it wouldn't be called paranormal. This is human stupidity at its finest point.

  5. I couldn't agree with you more.

  6. The word "paranormal" does define a range of experiences outside the norm.

Bigfoot, as being an unproved phenomenon, is thus paranormal because there are several hoaxes, lots of incorrectly-attributed information, and absolutely no solid proof whatsoever. The best proof of existence (a video, shot on film reels) was admitted by the videographer to be falsified after 30 years of denying that it was. Therefore, the existence of bigfoot is suspect, not scientifically viable at the moment, and considered to fall into the field of "cryptozoology" (a field of paranormal study which also includes such things as monsters, mythological creatures, and reports of creatures that people have never seen before).

Paranormal phenomena are not scientifically proven true, but the mass of evidence allows us to demand that science examine it in the name of discovering the truth of the matter. When all evidence has been shown to be false, then a phenomenon can be "debunked" when root causes for the evidence are discovered. Until then, it simply falls under the paranormal category due to being "unexplained".

God is paranormal, being outside of most peoples' direct experience. I tend to agree that science proves God; it doesn't negate God. However, the fact of the matter is that God, too, is not proved to exist by any part of science, though there is evidence to examine of personal experiences. Unlike ghosts, which can be sometimes detected with equipment, God can't be measured.

  7. people are ignorant.

  8. The paranormal is kind of like home dentistry, just pick up your little drill and make it up as you go along.
