  1. I think the politicians try to strife for the best to satisfy the voters or supporters. Utopianism has been many attempts to reach the goal of being a perfect society, starting with Plato in the year of BC 400, had tried a political utopianism but failed. The recent British political party named as BNP (British National Party) with great favoritism to British born whites only and a wicked intent to let British origins to control the social and economic benefits neglecting the rights of immigrants and naturalized British subjects. It is a total failure for such intent of thinking to bring England to become sort of utopia for the British origins. Hong Kong and Italy is governed by fascists rulers. Italy has newly elected priminister/president with strong fascists support. Although it is elected under suffrage, it is very bad for the economy and, Black Hands has controlled the economy, investments (banks), law abidding matters, and the results of soccer competions. Likewise, Hong Kong is ruled by the fascists of Donald Tsang Yum-kuen, John Tsang Chun-wah, and With three top officials backed up by 13 good for for nothing administrative officers. It is proven that the powerful peoples in Hong Kong controlling Hong Kong and they take and control the HOng Kong economy, law abidding matters, monetary matters and, particulary not give the rat's a-s-s to the seniors and the poor. Hong Kong is a city of death to the many. They all are being exploited in this six-walled prison ruled by the the fascists. The following website provides all detailed about the utopian society. I think even god couldn't conquer the human sins of greed, selfish and fear. There will be no "Garden of Eve" for all peoples in this world. I think the only one way is try to seek utopia on our own.

  2. Politics is " The activities and affairs involved in managing a state or a government ", so they are duty bound to strive for  "an ideal Utopian society". However Utopia is basically impossible to achieve, therefore they fail ! As long as the attempt is sincere and fair it is an ideal worth striving for.

  3. Because religion failed as a tool to "socially engineer" an ideal utopian society.

So they tried politics instead.  Its an obvious failure; but religion was too and we have nothing else to go to now.

And religion wasn't a failure of the belief, regardless of what belief you go with (Moses, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, etc.).  Religion failed because these names were used when the beliefs were not.  More people have been killed in Jesus' name than anyone else in history; yet Jesus Himself was the most peaceful person in history.  The same could be said of Moses, Mohammed, and Buddha, and probably all the other religious figures of history.

The followers didn't follow the beliefs, but used the name for their own gains.  That is why religion failed; and probably why politics will fail soon.
